While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I encountered behind its walls was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

From the moment I walked in , it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this bar . The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of decaying beverages and uncleaned toilets filled the entire pub. With a smell of a mixture of ammonia , a rotting odor and sour vomit . The serving zone , which should be the focal point of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The bathroom was in even a truly awful state— backed up, with a broken handle and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human excrement .
